The 3rd IEEE Latin America Conference on Cloud Computing and Communications (LatinCloud 2014)

November 24-25, 2014

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

http://www.ieee-latincloud.org/2014/index.htm

The Cloud Computing and Communications paradigm has defined unprecedented business models, promoting on-demand computing resource allocation, elastic scaling, and elimination of up-front costs. Capitalizing on paradigms such as virtualization, utility computing, grid computing, and service oriented architectures, cloud computing and communications has already changed the way we compute and communicate. To cope with a number of scientific and technological challenges for the support of diverse services and applications, the Third IEEE Latin America Conference on Cloud Computing and Communications (LatinCloud 2014) invites researchers from both industry and academia to submit their recent and high quality papers to such an established IEEE Communications Society’s conference.

Topics of Interest

Prospective authors are cordially invited to submit their original contributions covering completed or ongoing work related to the field of cloud computing and communications. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Cloud Computing architectures
  • Infrastructure core services

Paper Submission

We solicit submission of high-quality full papers reporting original and novel research results on all above topics. Papers must be written in English, unpublished and not submitted elsewhere. Full papers must be formatted as the standard IEEE double-column conference template and submitted exclusively in PDF on JEMS (https://jems.sbc.org.br/latincloud2014) at the IEEE LatinCloud 2014 page. A maximum of 6 pages are allowed for each paper, including all illustrations and references.

PLEASE NOTE: To be published in the IEEE Latin Cloud Conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full (member, student member, or non-member) rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference, unless the TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event and who is qualified both to present and answer questions. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper. For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for up to 2 papers. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE Latin Cloud Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore®.
