Special Section in IEEE Access: The Plethora of Research in Internet of Things (IoT)

Call for Papers

IEEE Access invites manuscript submissions in the area of “The Plethora of Research in Internet of Things (IoT)”

The plethora of research, standardization and developments in Internet of Things has increased enormously in recent years. This is due to the vast scope Internet of Things (IoT). Internet of Things refers to the world wide network of interconnected objects, which allow people or things to be connected anytime, anyplace, with anything and anyone, using any path, any network and any service. The application areas of Internet of Things are numerous, ranging from smart cities to vehicular networks and from cyber physical systems, smart grids to green Internet of Things. In this special section, we want to discuss the most recent advances in the interdisciplinary research areas encompassing the Internet of Things domain. This special section will bring together researchers from diverse fields and specializations, such as communications engineering, computer science, electrical and electronics engineering, educators, mathematicians and specialists in areas related to Internet of Things. In this special section, we invite researchers from academia, industry, and government to discuss challenging ideas, novel research contributions, demonstration results, and standardization efforts on the Internet of Things and related areas.

Topics of interest include, but not limited to the following:
