Call for Papers

IEEE/CIC International Conference on Communications in China (ICCC 2016) will be held in Chengdu, China, 27-29 July, 2016. This conference will feature world-class plenary speakers, major technical symposia, industry and academic panels, tutorials and workshops. The technical program chairs invite the submission of original papers to following symposia for presentation and publication in the conference proceedings. Accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore. Best paper awards will be selected from accepted papers. Symposium of Social Networks and Big Data of IEEE/CIC ICCC 2016 We have witnessed the dramatic increase of the use of information technology in every aspect of our lives. It also opens new interesting topics. For example, user interactions in online social networks in principle provide a wealth of data to analyze so we can understand many aspects of the societal changes. The Social Networks and Big Data Symposium offers a timely venue for researchers and industry partners to present and discuss their latest results in the fields of Social Networks and Big Data. The Social Networks and Big Data Symposium solicits original contributions in, but not limited to, the following typical areas:

• Social networks modeling, analysis, and management
• Social networks technology and applications
• Visualization of social networks
• Mathematical modelling of social spreading processes
• Mobile social network
• Corpora and collections of Big Data
• Networking for Big Data
• Security and privacy in social networks
• Security and privacy in Big Data
• Social network forensics
• Digital forensics in Big Data

Submission Guidelines

The submitted papers should be original, not published or currently under review for publications in any other journal or conference. All submissions must be formatted in standard IEEE camera-ready format and must be written in English and be at most six (6) printed pages in length, including figures. Papers should be submitted through EDAS System.
