The 3rd International Workshop on Social Internet of Anything (SIoA’24)
In conjunction with WiMob 2024, Paris, France, Oct 21-23, 2024
SIoA 2024 will take place at Paris, France, on Oct 21, 2024, collocated with the 20th International Conference on Wireless and Mobile Computing, Networking and Communications (WiMob 2024). WiMob 2024 is sponsored by IEEE and endorsed by IEEE ComSoc. All papers accepted by the workshop SIoA 2024 will be published in the WiMob 2024 Proceedings and will be included in IEEExplore.
Description
In the last year there has been a tremendous increasing of mobile social communication systems. In particular, the synergic combination of emerging communication technology and the advent of the Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm has triggered the social networking paradigm applied to different contexts, ranging from more traditional networks to new emerging contexts, as Internet of Drones, Internet of Vehicles Internet of People, Digital Twins etc. With this enlarged perspective, it is paramount to extend the social features application to “Anything”, declining the new paradigm of Social Internet of Anything (SIoA). This new concept may enrich the wireless systems with new features and capabilities deriving from the intrinsic multidisciplinary nature of social networks, but at the same time may open to new threats and vulnerabilities. The main aim of this workshop is aimed to lead to the widespread dissemination of innovative and unpublished research contributions on the important issues of SIoA provisioning, social networking and connectivity, social community detection and prediction, social ties, and hub nodes for communication networks, cross-layer design and inter-operability between communication networks and social networks. This workshop is endorsed by IEEE ComSoc Social Networks Technical Committee within the Special Interest Group Social Anythings.
